Before There Was Santa Claus…
Before the sleigh crossed the Christmas Eve sky, before elves filled a workshop with laughter, and before children around the world knew the name Santa Claus, there was Nicholas.
Nicholas had always noticed the people others hurried past. He gave what he could, stopped when someone needed help, and slowly began to notice something extraordinary:
Whenever a smile appeared, the Northern Lights seemed to shine a little brighter.
Eventually, the Lights led him north.
And there, in a quiet place at the edge of the world, the story of Santa began.
But Nicholas would not build that story alone.
Gertrude arrived looking for a village school and discovered instead a place—and a community—that needed exactly what she had to give.
Years later, during the hardest winter the North Pole had ever known, four simple choices would help Nicholas and Gertrude finally understand the Magic that had been growing around them all along.

And Then a Child Asks the Question
Generations later, James is struggling with something far more familiar.
